Fitness Journey
During her studies, Laura played varsity soccer, competing at a high level and pushing herself both physically and mentally. Now, she continues to pursue movement and exercise for enjoyment, growth, and mental clarity. Not to mention the benefits of feeling physically strong and capable for life’s demands as a physiotherapist, mom, and athlete.
Laura opened Walkerton Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic in early 2021. Her clinical experience and business mindset lead her to creating EverActive 5 years later, upon seeing a need for this type of facility in her community. Building off her values at Walkerton Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic, she strives to curate a fitness studio that is as effective as it is enjoyable for individuals from all walks of life.

Fitness Journey
Erin brings both academic knowledge and real-world athletic experience to her coaching.
As a lifelong athlete, Erin played competitive sports including ringette, volleyball and other team sports. She also developed a strong passion for CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting, drawn to the challenge, the measurable progress, and always having a goal to work toward.
Fitness Philosophy
Erin believes fitness should be used to lift people up especially in a world that constantly tells us to shrink. Her approach focuses on helping clients take up more space, get stronger (not smaller), and build rather than burn. Training isn’t about punishment; it’s about performance, resilience, and creating a body that supports you through every stage of life.
“I use fitness not just for performance, but to build what I like to call my “old person body” — a strong, capable foundation that allows me (and my clients) to live fully and confidently, no matter what obstacles life throws our way. My mission is to help people build strength that extends beyond the gym and into everyday life.”

Fitness Journey
Terry’s journey started many years ago when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 7. With this diagnosis, she would no longer have a working pituitary, and face the challenges of hypothyroidism. As a child she didn’t understand the struggle these things would bring, but she did realize that she didn’t “look” or have the same energy her peers did.
Through the years of school, stress, and first jobs, it came very apparent to Terry that something needed to change in her life in order to guarantee her a future.
Terry’s love for fitness sparked over 10 years ago when she found herself on her own weight loss journey. Trying to find a balance between working two jobs, social life and some relaxation, she was able to lose 100 lbs with exercise and proper nutrition. She understands the challenges that people can face and knows first-hand that it isn’t “easy” to make these changes.
Fitness Philosophy
Terry loves being able to help others through the journey that she lived and still continues to live. The journey doesn’t end once the weight comes off!
Personal Interests
Terry enjoys:
Walking her dog Mia
Working out
Sitting and relaxing with friends and family
